Trevor Vidot

Trevor Vidot joins Rovers

Rovers have announced the loan signing of Trevor Vidot from Premier League club Cote d’Or FC.

Trevor initially joined Rovers during the 2019/20 January transfer window on a 6-month loan but suffered a long term injury late in stoppage time during the 4-1 demolition of title rivals Bel Air FC.

Trevor has previously played for St. Michel United and represented Seychelles internationally including caps during the World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifications.

On his signing, Trevor said: “My injury is now behind me, I feel strong, and I’m looking forward to helping the team with my experience.”

Head Coach, Steve Herbots, said: “Trevor is a dangerous and unpredictable player who is able to dribble opponents at speed while keeping close control of the ball.

“His technical and playmaking ability allows him to create goal scoring opportunities for his teammates.

“We will help him recover physically from his injury and he will be a strong and important addition to our team.”

Kosta Todorovic, Rovers FC Manager, said: “Trevor’s injury last year cruelly cut his season short so we are very excited to get him going again in 2020/21.

“Trevor is a top player and a big coup for our club. His adds quality and experience.”
