Rovers FC is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Abdul Jumaye following a successful loan spell last season.
Abdul sat out the majority of last season with a serious knee injury but regained fitness to feature in Rovers last league match of the 2019/20 season which clinched promotion and the Championship 2 title.
Abdul previously played for Victoria City and Lions and has represented Seychelles at various youth levels.
Speaking about his transfer, Abdul said: “I’m happy to be joining Rovers and will try my best to help the team achieve its objectives.
“Hoping to reinforce the midfield to the best of my capability.”
Rovers FC Head Coach, Steve Herbots, said: “Abdul can dictate the flow of the game from his position.
“He has the vision and tactical awareness to control the game and be the link between defence and attack.”
Kosta Todorovic, Rovers FC Manager, added: “It’s really nice to see Abdul fit again and I’m looking forward to him continuing to work hard and contribute to our success.”
